• Product information

  In the Refoxed Edition, Sábio Refoxed is a secret star, because for this model, both the lining and the upper are made of leftover material, i.e. from existing fabrics of a previous model.

  The lining's raw material is single-source cotton from Cotonea. Single source means that the material is obtained from a single supplier, which, among other things, helps to ensure high quality.

  The upper material is made of recycled cotton and is particularly water-repellent due to its exceptionally dense weaving and the integrated membrane construction made of recycled material.

  The insoles are removable and therefore particularly easy to air and clean.

  Upper:
  Canvas (100% recycled cotton) – sage green

  Membrane:
  100% polyester containing approx. 75% recycled material

  Interior lining / mid-sole:
  100% certified organically grown cotton

  Insole:
  Hemp-flax fleece (50% hemp, 50% flax) [removable]

  Edging:
  Microfiber (100% polyamide) – gray green

  Outsole:
  60% synthetic rubber containing approx. 33% recycled material, 25% silica, 15% recycled cork – smørrebrød

  Runs slightly shorter and a little narrow. Our Customer Service team is happy to advise you individually.

• Care

  Waterproofing before first-time wear

  Before first-time wear, we do recommend that you waterproof the edging again. This may cause the edging to darken slightly, so don’t be surprised. There is no need to apply waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe right out of the box – that has already been taken care of during production (and in this case, doubling up won’t make it last longer).

  Tip: Using a brush is the best way to apply the waterproofing product. If you choose to spray it on, be sure to cover the rest of the shoe. Repeat the waterproofing treatment as needed.

  Cleaning

  The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth. Not machine washable.

  For stubborn stains, we recommend gentle cleaning with our biodegradable cleaning solution "Drops".

  We recommend removing the insoles from the shoes after use for airing and to avoid moisture build-up.
  They can be carefully washed by hand. Allow to dry completely before putting them back. Not machine washable.

  Post-treatment

  We recommend periodic follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product.

• Additional notes

  Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities.

  A hue appears different depending on the lighting conditions. That's why colors always look a little different on the screen, in artificial light at home, or outside in sunlight.

  When putting on, please note: Widen the opening of the shoe sufficiently by loosening the laces. This minimizes wear on the material and extends the life of the shoe.
